After clearing a series of empty side chambers and long-collapsed corridors, the party forced open an iron-bound slab and discovered a small vaulted cache that had been sealed for decades. There are no fresh signs of battle — the contents appear to be the stored spoils of a long-dead dungeon steward: coin, trade goods, a handful of gemstones and art, and a few useful magical trinkets kept for contingencies. The items reflect careful packing rather than battlefield salvage: useful gear for explorers and small-scale treasures meant to be fenced in a nearby trade town.
