The Tale of This Treasure
The party cleared a small goblin warband that had taken up shelter in the rubble-strewn terrace of an ancient ruin. The goblins scavenged what they could from toppled statues and crumbled alcoves and the shaman used a chipped basalt altar as his ritual focus. Wolves kept as hounds guarded the camp and yielded hides and crude trophies. Among the detritus are both mundane scavenged gear and a few items of true antiquarian interest — broken fragments of carved stone, a worn map edge that hints at a sealed chamber deeper in the ruins, and the shaman's strange charm that seems to hum faintly with a warding sympathetic to old magic.
