After the smoke cleared and the last standards fell, the party combed the churned earth and broken ranks for anything of value. Scattered among splintered wagons and ruined tents they found coin pouches, looted noble gems, and useful gear salvaged from officers and surgeons. A few prized magical items were recovered from the fallen command contingent: a practical Bag of Holding for hauling capture, a +1 Longsword still warm with use, and a Ring of Protection pilfered from a lieutenant. The torn banner and the medic satchel offer both flavour and practical uses in town, whether for sale, identification, or repurposing into gear and supplies. Taken together, the haul will keep the party supplied, help patch wounds between fights, and provide bargaining chips for the next leg of their campaign.
