The Iron Menagerie: Ringmaster's Fall

Beneath the circus tents, in a subterranean performance hall turned machine shop, the party dismantled the ring master's final spectacle: two towering mechanical lions and their showman. The lions' chassis scattered gears and braided wires while a locked props chest near the center ring yielded performance pieces and arcane tools. Among the mundane receipts and glittered gloves were truly useful finds: a Bag of Holding likely smuggled into the ring for quick exits; a wand used to punctuate the ring master's tricks; and a dense clockwork heart pried from a lion's chest that hums with condensed motion. The party can sell mundane oddments and gems, keep the Bag and cloak for stealthy infiltration, study the Clockwork Lion Heart for artificing opportunities, or slot the +1 longsword into a wary champion's hand for future fights.
