The Tale of This Treasure
The party storms the overgrown lower cellars of the Wizard of Wines, where corrupted druids—twisting the vineyard's lifeblood into a thicket of malice—commanded vine and twig blights to choke the casks and root up the rafters. After felled vines weeping sap and splintered staves of the druids, the cellar is a tangle of rotted crates, half-buried barrels, and ritual circles scored into the stone. Among the ruin the party recovers salvageable vintages, druidic gear, and a handful of curios prized by travellers and collectors in Barovia. Some items are plainly mundane and likely looted from the vineyard workers; others show signs of druidic rites—charred leaf glyphs, carved animal motifs, and faint green luminescence that suggests lingering minor enchantment.
