Coins and gems lie atop a few practical treasures: a Bag of Holding folded beneath a silk scrap, a +1 longsword with smoke-scalloped runes, and a warmed potion still slick with condensation. Scattered among the valuables are exotic crafting pieces that hint at dragon-related work: a scale that shifts color and a small Emberstone with red veins. The cache seems gathered by a creature that prized mobility and utility as much as showy wealth. The items should outfit a level 5 party comfortably: enough coin and gems to cover new gear or services, dependable magic items to tip the balance in future fights, and special components that can be sold or used to craft dragon-themed gear.
