The Tale of This Treasure

After clearing the low, damp corridor and driving the two goblins from their crude ambush point beneath a rotting banner, the party rifles the bodies and nearby caches. They find a modest mixed coin pouch suitable for buying supplies, a travelers healing potion tucked in a corner of a satchel, and the weapons the goblins favored: a shortbow with a small bundle of arrows and a rusty scimitar. Among torn clothing and salvaged kit is a small garnet that might fetch a jeweler's eye and some leather scraps and a buckle that a tanner or crafter could put to use. A crudely made grub-tooth charm completes the haul, a piece of goblin superstition that could be bartered or kept as a low-level trinket. The overall take is sensible for a low-level party defeating two goblins in a dungeon: useful supplies, one small magical consumable, and a few bits and pieces that fund the next stretch of the adventure.
