Spoils of the Coral Throne

After boarding the Pirate Queen's flagship and sending her last crew scrambling into the surf, the party clears the captain's cabin and the locked chest beneath the quarterdeck. The cabin smells of salt, rum, and old blood; gilt maps and a waterworn throne tell of a life spent ruling a reef and preying on merchant lanes. Most items are practical — weapons, charts, a handful of valuable gems — but there are also tokens of the Queen's command: a black pearl necklace taken from a sea witch, a signet ring stamped with the emblem of a coral crown, and a storm-bottled component the Queen used to threaten ships with tempest magics. The haul is ideal for a level 8 Pathfinder party: a mix of coin, gemstones, a couple of modest magic items suitable for PCs around this tier, and plot hooks (a map and the Queen's signet) to lead into further pirate-themed adventures.
