The Tale of This Treasure
After the goblin warband's final stand beneath a tattered red banner, the party picks through the smoking camp and forward trench lines where the hobgoblin captain had positioned his men. There are looted trade goods, battered equipment, crude battlefield trophies, and a few pieces of gear that speak to the captain's higher status and the shaman's odd superstitions. Most weapons are serviceable but crude; a few items stand out as unusually well-made (or quietly magical). The party also recovers coin and barter goods hidden in pits and the dead officers' saddlebags.
