Crabbed Claws of the Shattered Shore

After a grueling battle against a small colony of giant crabs along the rocky tidepools near a recently contested battlefield, the adventurers gather spoils from their defeated foes and the remnants of skirmishes long past. The crabs, territorial protectors of hidden treasures washed ashore by nearby naval conflicts, yield claws and shells tough enough to be repurposed by skilled crafters. Scattered among the debris, remnants of broken weapons and personal trinkets hint at previous skirmishes, offering modest gemstones and usable crafting materials for a level 1 party making their first steps into battlefield scavenging.
