The Flayed Vault's Residue

The room smells of vinegar and old parchment. After the ten Boneless are defeated, their deflated, rubbery forms settle into the gelatinous puddles on the floor. Among the dissolved remains of previous victims and the thick, viscous ooze that coats the stone flagstones, several hardened objects remain untouched by the acidic environment. Some are treasures from fallen knights, while others are anatomical remnants of the strange creatures that inhabit the castle's lowest depths.
