Emberhound Ambush — Ashglade Battlefield Spoils

The battlefield at Ashglade still smolders. Five ember hounds—canine fiends of living flame—raced among the dead and dying, turning banners and leather to cinders. When the last emberhound fell, the party picked through ash, scorched kit and the beasts themselves. Much of the value here comes from what the hounds bore (their pelts, teeth and ember-cores) and what the battle left behind (a torn militia standard, a few weapon parts and personal valuables). The haul favors crafting reagents for fire-related gear, a few solid coin and trinkets worth selling or returning to families, and one small uncommon oddity salvaged from the heart of an emberhound.
