Hidden behind an illusion-shrouded alcove in a forgotten arcane library, the party found a small chamber that functioned as a mid-tier magical treasury: a curated hoard left by a circle of court magi who collected rarities useful to researchers and artificers. No guardians remain — the warding sigils have long since faded — but the items are tied to study and craft rather than martial spoils. The assortment is balanced for a level 12 party in D&D 5E: a couple of items that will immediately interest a wizard or artificer, several sellable gems and reagents, and one minor wondrous item that can be used in adventures. The pieces are appropriate for a treasury rather than the possessions of beasts or battlefield scavengers.
