The Tale of This Treasure
After routing three petty bandits and their hobgoblin overseer from a ramshackle hideout beneath the old Redmill, the party pried open trunks and barrels to find a messy assortment of stolen goods and the hobgoblin's kit. The bandits favored quick blades and pilfered valuables from passing caravans; the hobgoblin's presence explains the better-quality armor and a tidy coin purse kept separately. Among the spoils are useful trade goods, a useful map/ledger hinting at a secondary cache, a potion left for emergencies, and a handful of low-value gems and jewelry likely taken from local merchants.
