Ancient Thri-kreen Den Spoils

You pushed through the last ribbed tunnel and spilled into a vaulted chamber, the air thick with the scent of resin and old sweat. The den is a half-buried cache carved from stone where an ancient thri-kreen band stored the spoils of patrols and trade. Alongside racks of spears and coils of rope you find carefully stacked crates of coin and trade papers, a small chest of gemstones, and oddities shaped from chitin and shell. Several items are plainly crafted for thri-kreen owners: lightweight chitin scaling, segmented plates, and barbed spearheads, but human and elven gear has been pressed into service here too. Among the mundane supplies you discover a few true prizes: a magically enhanced spear, a warding pendant, a 6th-level spell scroll, and a custom returning dart fashioned from an old mandible. The haul will outfit the party, furnish a crafter with exotic materials, and grant a couple of rare treasures worth selling or keeping for the next dangerous descent.
