After a tense fight deep in the frost-dark vault, the ghostly silver dragon guardian (幽灵银龙守卫) collapsed into motes of pale light. Its spectral form left behind the few worldly things it had been bound to guard: a small hoard of coin, a pair of moonlit gems, a vial of restorative liquid, a well-crafted silvered dagger, a faintly enchanted guardian medallion, and one translucent scale that still hums with cold, otherworldly energy. The scale and medallion carry arcane interest — spellcasters and crafters in a nearby city might pay well for them — while the coins and gems will keep the party fed and supplied for a while. The heavier, more dangerous trophies of draconic power are absent, replaced by items appropriate to a spirit charged with sentinel duty rather than a living hoard-keeper.
