Cache of the Hollow Archive

Beneath collapsed vaults and a library choked with sand and lichen, the party pried open a sealed side-chamber where archivists once stored valuables they would rather bury than let fall into invaders' hands. No guardians remained—only brittle scrolls, sealed cases, and carefully hidden containers that survived centuries. The hoard is a mixture of scholarly wealth (codices, map fragments, and reagents useful to scribes and enchanters), portable art and gems useful to finance the next leg of the journey, and a handful of craftable components made from an old, slightly otherworldly alloy. Several pieces hum faintly with residual magic; none are obviously combat weapons, but a fortunate artificer or enchanter could make good use of them.
