Hidden behind a disguised mural in an abandoned wizard-bank, a side chamber opens onto a narrow vault room known as the Vault of Luminous Coin. Shelves of velvet-lined alcoves hold items that once belonged to master arcanists and wealthy collectors. The party finds a mixture of high-value mundane wealth and powerful arcane items: a battered but potent staff kept in a velvet case, a cloak that confounds attackers, and a partially used Deck of Many Things whose unpredictable power hums in the air. Practical resources for crafting and enchanting are present as well: refined mithral, gemstones of trade quality, and a pouch-sized alchemical resin prized by master smiths and enchanters. A small ledger promises further adventure, marking the location of a repository of spellbooks should the party wish to follow the trail. Several items require attunement and careful deliberation; the party must decide whether to sell, keep, or use these treasures to reinforce their arsenal and craft bespoke gear for the threats ahead.
