Den of the Ancient Thri-kreen

Deep within a collapsed sandstone cavity the party uncovers a long-abandoned Thri-kreen cache where an ancient hunting band stored war spoils and captured caravan goods. Racks hold spears and thrown weapons, crates contain silks and spices from far lands, and a battered chest contains a mix of coin and a handful of valuable gems. Amid the mundane spoils are several magical items kept for war leaders or gifted to favored hunters: a well-made Bag of Holding, a quiver carved to hold specialized weapons, a stealthy cloak adapted for predator hunters, and a finely runed +1 spear. Also found are materials clearly prized by Thri-kreen for crafting and ritual: a glowing shard of carapace that craftsmen and crafters will pay to acquire, and a potion kept for desperate wounds. The cache looks like it was abandoned after a sudden raid generations ago, leaving the items intact and waiting for new hands to claim them.
