Sootscale Kobold Den Spoils

After clearing a cramped, torchlit side-branch of the dungeon, the party pries open a collapsed crate and finds the spoils of a small kobold raiding band. The kobolds favored traps and pilfered goods rather than fine armor or enchanted gear, so the haul is mostly practical items, a few petty gems and coins, one useful potion and a dangerous thrown alchemical flask left over from their defenses. The kobold token and the braided leather mark the den's allegiance and might earn the party information or a favor if shown to the right NPC. Overall the haul is modest but helpful to a fledgling level 2 party: ammo and a spear to refill their supplies, a healing potion for emergencies, a valuable alchemical flask that can turn the next skirmish in their favor, and a few items suitable for selling or use in crafting.
