The Tale of This Treasure
The party cleared a stone burial chamber beneath a ruined chapel, smashing through ranks of skeletons and confronting a Sword Wraith who hung like a shadow over an obsidian altar, supported by an Undead Warrior pair and a necromancer who braided the bones into an army. Most skeletons carried only scraps and pennies — the necromancer siphoned valuables into a hidden alcove behind the altar. In the alcove and on the corpses you recover a mix of mundane salvage, ritual components, spell trappings and a few items saturated with the wraith's chill. Some pieces (the wraith's blade, the glassy shard) hum faintly and may require a short ritual or attunement to function fully.
