Greenbark Lumbermill Ambush — Bandit Stash

You cleared the sawdust-choked rafters and toppled the makeshift barricade where the bandits had been hiding. The captain fell by the mill pond; behind his battered desk you pry up a loose board and find the strongest haul — coin pouches, a small locked chest, and tools proving these were more than highway thieves: they’d been living off stolen shipments. Scattered along the workbenches and among toppled crates are crude weapons and a few personal trinkets. Among the spoils are also supplies clearly meant for resale at the next road market: kiln-dried planks, nails and a set of carpentry tools likely looted from the mill foreman. There’s a ledger with names and amounts — a promising lead on who’s buying the stolen wood.
