Collapsed Hall Cache

After clearing a cramped wing of the dungeon and forcing open a rubble-sealed alcove, the party uncovers a small cache left by an ill-fated patrol. The alcove held a merchant's emergency stores and a private soldier's possessions. Among the mundane coin and repair materials lie a few items of true value and a single practical trinket obviously intended for use in dungeon exploration. The loot is balanced for a level 5 group: enough coin and gems to pay for gear and services, a dependable magical weapon and cloak to aid the martial members, a healing potion for emergencies, and modest crafting reagents for long-term repairs or inventive uses.
