Clearing of the Forgotten Cellar

The party finds a low, vaulted storage chamber two levels beneath an abandoned watchtower. No defenders remain — the room appears to have been abandoned in haste long ago. Sacked crates, a toppled lanternstand and a writing desk half-swamped in dust hint that this was once a supply and record room for a minor garrison or a reclusive scribe. Among discarded packing straw and broken pottery the party finds modest coin, a few practical tools and supplies useful to low-level adventurers, and a single item that could turn a cold night into a survivable one. All items are mundane or low-value—appropriate spoils for a level 1 party clearing an old dungeon storeroom.
