Skirmish at the East Bastion

After clearing the southern watch and forcing open the boss's alcove in the mountain keep, the party retrieves what the goblins hoarded. The goblin boss fell beside a dented iron chest that contained most of the coin and a few trinkets. The rank-and-file goblins carried worn weapons, a few bits of armor, and a charm or two. Among the spoils are practical items for low level characters: a usable scimitar and shield, patchwork leather armor, a potion to patch wounds, and modest trade goods such as an agate and iron scrap. A fragment of a map points to another point of interest in the keep, and the boss's trophy amulet may open roleplaying options or a future small mystery.
