Tide and Ice: The Giants' Claim on the Dragon's Hoard

Beneath a shattered sea-cliff chamber the party found the tail-end of a dragon's legendary hoard, long contested by titans of the surf and ice. A lone frost giant had wintered over part of the cache while a storm giant claimed the sea-side vault as a trophy of storms. After a brutal confrontation the fighters stand amid dripping banners, broken chests, and clinking coin. The frost giant's portion contains cold-tinged relics and a carved horn of winter. The storm giant's stores include thunder-scarred coinage, a lightning-hummed belt of storm strength, and drifts of sea-polished gemstones taken as prizes. Mixed throughout are useful crafting metals and enchanted tools salvaged from old battles between dragon and giant. The party can divvy the hoard, bargain with local collectors for the rarer pieces, or use the materials to craft or upgrade gear. The belts are unique and powerful prizes and will likely draw attention from collectors, giant-kin, and dragon-worshipping cults.
