Beneath the dungeon's lower halls the party cleared a cramped, heat-stained chamber where a small colony of giant rats had taken shelter alongside a brood of giant centipedes and one unusually warm, ember-eyed giant inferno spider. The scene is messy: torn sacks, scorched webbing clinging to the ceiling, and a shallow midden of bones and refuse. What the party recovers is a mix of scavenged coin and practical materials salvaged from creatures and the ruined storerooms — useful to low-level crafters, alchemists, and anyone who knows a good mushroom stew from dungeon rot.
