Vault of the Nightmaster — The Crime Lord's Spoils

Beneath the crooked sign of a disreputable tavern and through a sequence of false walls and masked servants, the party cleared the subterranean vault of the Bandit Crime Lord and his cohort. What remained after the skirmish was not just crude coin and commoner's plunder, but the curated hoard of a master thief who amassed both wealth and trade goods used in the craft: carefully labeled keys, forged seals, specialist tools, and a small collection of discreet magical items the lord used to slip through wards and disappear into crowds. The bandit rank-and-file carried petty cash, contraband, and rough trade goods; the captains kept serviceable arms and a few polished pieces intended for fencing. The vault's central chest contained the crime lord's private ledger, a few high-value gems and artworks, and a stash of marked coins intended for bribing city officials.
