Battlefield Spoils of the Blackthorn Bandits

After a hard dawn fight in the ruined crossroads, the party sweeps the field and the collapsed camp of twenty bandits. Most attackers were poorly equipped levies: leather jerkins, short swords, daggers, and a handful of crossbows and tools. Scattered among broken tents and cooking pits are pouches of mixed coin, a few small gems, and mundane supplies. In the officer's remains the party finds maps that reveal patrol routes and a sketch of a nearby supply depot. Of particular note is an odd iron-and-glass amulet that seems to muffle footsteps once per day. The banner and the noblehouse pennon are useful trophies for the local magistrate or as bargaining chips. The haul gives the party immediate practical gear, modest coin, and a couple of items with longer-term value for selling, crafting, or using on future missions.
