Boarding of the Broken Gull

After a bloody boarding on the deck of the Broken Gull the party strips what they can from the fallen. The captain's strongbox is forced open and personal effects are gathered from close-quartered fights among the rigging. Weapons and armor are salvaged where useful, sailing supplies and coinage are taken for sale, and the spellcaster's desperate last-stand left behind a valuable spell scroll. Among the spoils are a few items of clear value to the marketplace, a practical bundle of rigging and canvas for craftsmen, and two unusual finds: a Tidal Tincture likely brewed by a sea mage and a black spot scrap that will make enemies and allies alike take notice. The haul provides immediate coin for repairs and resupply, some trade goods to fence or use, and a couple of magic items appropriate for a level five party to share or distribute.
