The Tale of This Treasure

The caravan lies in a state of disarray with its canvas covers shredded and crates pried open. Between the guttural remains of the gnolls and the unceremonious end of the bandits, a hoard of stolen trade goods and scavenged weaponry remains. The air smells of spilled spices and wet fur, but the value of the recovered supplies makes the stench bearable for the weary adventurers. Most of the cargo was meant for a nearby frontier town, now left scattered in the mud of the bandit camp.
