Iron Gate Barracks: Guard Detritus and Captain's Chest

After a bruising showdown in the dungeon's guard barracks, the party clears the last of the twenty-five watchmen. With the sentries routed and the corridor silent, they search the barracks, the armory alcoves, and the small captain's chamber. Most of what remains are the utilitarian belongings of low-level guards — battered weapons, patched leather jerkins, a ring marking command, a handful of confiscated trinkets from past prisoners, and a modest coin haul. A keyring of cell keys and a ledger of patrol orders hint at routes deeper into the complex. Nothing obviously magical is found; these are practical spoils a fledgling party can use, sell, or trade for information.
