Ruins of the Sun-Burrow: The Monarch's Fall

After clearing the sandstone corridors and collapsed arenas of the ancient ruins, the party picked through the spoils of a desperate, bloodied court. The ten hunters had left trade pouches for tribute, the eight mystics guarded ritual implements and brewing materials, and the five gladiators protected the Monarch's outer ring. When the Monarch fell, the royal mantle and personal regalia became available to claim. The pile contains common coinage and trade gems, rugged chitin armor and weapons looted from the gladiators and hunters, several useful magical items for a level 10 party including a protective ring and an extradimensional bag, and three custom relics tied to the thri-kreen court: the monarch cloak and two smaller ritual pieces. The haul is rich enough to outfit the party and fund a return expedition, while leaving room for faction interest and bargaining over the monarch's relics.
