After overwintering on the northern approach and picking their way through frozen parapets and collapsed galleries, the party finds a handful of practical supplies, some small treasures, and a few items of curious mountain magic tucked into the ruined officers' quarters. The haul fits the setting: gemstones and valuables stripped from officer regalia, useful climbing gear left behind by fleeing defenders, a couple of healing potions for the road, and a single strange keepsake with a minor protective charm fashioned by a mountaintop smith-priest. The party can sell most of the gems and mundane gear in the nearest trading town, keep the cold-iron dagger for edge-case threats, and decide whether the Stormforged Pebble should be saved for a daring rappel or sold to a collector of oddities.
