Beneath a collapsed spiraled stair the party found the heart of a pocket storm where a lone storm spirit had been bound to keep the dungeon corridors clear of intrusive water. The spirit did not leave empty-handed. Struck down, it left condensed lightning and a few enchanted trinkets that held its temperament. Near its lair the party also disturbed a residue of echoes, ghostlike reverberations that clung to cloth and gem alike. The room's treasure was a mix of practical magical gear and raw materials shaped by elemental violence. The potions and wand will help in the next encounter, the +1 shortsword and cloak are straightforward upgrades for fighters and front-line casters, the gems provide cash or crafting seeds, and the Stormcore and Echo-silk Thread are specialty materials perfect for crafters or for a ritualist who wants to bind elemental or sound magic into new items.
