Aftermath of the Ridge Road Ambush

The field is still steaming where the skirmish ended. Bodies and scattered kit mark the slope under the broken wagon that served as the bandits' makeshift strongpoint. Among the seven fallen raiders you find common fighting gear rather than ornate treasure: practical weapons, a few gemstones and trinkets taken from caravans, a sealed healing potion from the captain, and a pouch of mixed coin the bandits had collected. A torn fragment of the bandit banner and a silver signet recovered from a skulking guard hint that these raiders were opportunistic thieves rather than an organized mercenary force. The party can divvy the coin and sell or repurpose the gear, keep the potion and thieves' tools for future encounters, and use the banner fragment as proof of allegiance or as leverage when dealing with local authorities.
