Embers of the Ironheart Hoard

After a brutal confrontation in a volcanic, iron-strewn cavern beneath a mountain, the party stands before the ruined throne of a fire-loving dragon and the toppled iron sentinel that once guarded its vault. Scorched braziers and the carcasses of three fire giants litter the chamber. The giants’ trophies — oversized weapons, smithing gear, and molten ingots — have been dragged into the dragon’s hoard and fused into the pile by the heat. The dragon’s hoard is dominated by heat-darkened coin, brilliant fire-gems, and a few arcane core fragments salvaged from the iron golem. The items here are appropriate to what these foes would reasonably possess: giant-crafted arms, smiths’ tools, fire-tempered ingots, dragon scales and gems, and one small, clearly dragon-tempered magical relic suitable for a mid-level party.
