Tangles of the Sunken Spire

Beneath cracked stone and mildew-dark halls of the ancient ruins, the party cleared a narrow vaulted chamber where a manticore nested among toppled statues and a ghost that clung to the ruin's sorrow. Deeper tunnels revealed a goblin warband that had been using the lower galleries as a forward post — two goblin chiefs and a pair of drow allies (a mage and two elite warriors) who had claimed the ruins for their own schemes. The spoils are a mixture of crude stolen coin and trappings of drow theft, practical materials salvaged from the manticore and the spirit, and a handful of small valuables and components useful to low-level adventurers and crafters.
