Hollow Street Raid

The party cleared the abandoned rowhouse on Hollow Street, a place long given over to damp and rot. The were-rats hid in the low rafters and under floorboards; their nests were a nest of torn cloth, human detritus, and scavenged trinkets. Beneath a loose floorboard the adventurers found a greasy coin purse and two gemstones shoved into an empty tobacco tin. A battered shortsword and patched leather jerkin clung to the largest wererat's lair, likely taken from previous victims. A healer might prize the potion found in a cracked apothecary bottle near the chimney. Scattered among the nest were bundles of rat pelts and a small, uncanny ring crafted from wire and a sliver of stone, warm and fidgety in the hand. The haul is modest but serviceable for a level 2 party: enough coin to pay for repairs and a meal, gemstones to pawn for supplies, practical gear to refit an under-equipped ally, and a minor charm that rewards cautious skulking.
