The Noble's Guard: Animated Armours at the Cache

Beneath a paneled antechamber in a minor noble's town house, two animated armours clanged to life, defending a small secured cache. After the clanking guardians were toppled, the party found a private collection of valuables meant for quick access or emergency flight: a modest coin purse, a signet ring for identifying the family, a few semi-precious gems, and several small domestic items and scraps left behind when the armours were animated. Nothing too grand—this is a minor noble's personal reserve, more useful for starting adventurers and for roleplay hooks than for immediate wealth beyond pocket money.
