The Tale of This Treasure
The party explored a low, vine-choked chamber deep within an ancient ruin of an age-sunken city. No sentries or beasts disturbed the dust — only the slow, patient work of time and damp. Behind a toppled statue and beneath a collapsed brazier the adventurers found a small, deliberate cache: coins tucked into a pottery lining, a set of cataloged gemstones in a carved wooden box, a minor magical weapon wrapped in oiled cloth, and a handful of craftable remnants and curios meant for a cartographer's workshop. The find looks like it was hidden quickly by scholars fleeing some disaster and never reclaimed. The items are modest but useful to a low-level party and contain hooks for future investigation of the ruin's history.
