The Tale of This Treasure
Beneath the vaulted ceiling of a long-abandoned observation chamber, your party put down two spectators and a solitary gauth while two nothics skittered and two goblins tried to scatter the room's curios. The spectators had been mounted as stationary sentinels around a small alcove where researchers once kept devices and reagents for studying eyes, rays and cognition. The gauth had been feeding on the watchers and left behind viscous psionic residue in canisters. The nothics, ever-collectors of oddities, hoarded small gems and optical trinkets, while the goblins rifled through loose coin and crude weapons. What remains is a small, focused cache of coin, useful crafting reagents tied to eyes and psionic phenomena, a few curios likely prized by collectors, a common healing potion, and one minor enchanted trinket someone slipped into a nothic’s pouch.
