The Tale of This Treasure
After a bitter fight among toppled barrels and choking, animated vines, the cellar of the Wizard of Wines is a ruin of splintered oak and soaked soil. Four vine blights and their twig blight attendants, bent by a druidic corruption, tried to use the old vineyard itself as a weapon. The five druids — three zealots and two guardians of a twisted grove — fell defending a small, consecrated vat where a handful of reserve casks were kept. In the wreckage the party finds a mix of mundane spoilage, useful natural reagents, a few pieces of druidic gear, and a handful of carefully saved wine bottles that smell faintly of cedar and ash. Some items are good for crafting or alchemy, some are plainly valuable, and one or two bear faint enchantments consistent with the druids' panache for nature magic.
