Beneath the ruined battlements and frost-bitten parapets, the party forced open a crushed stone door and found the keep's old storeroom. Salt, smoke and the tang of spent oil filled the air. Most of the bulk stores had long since gone to rust and vermin, but careful searching uncovered a modest coin hoard stashed in a chest, several trade-ready gemstones wrapped in oilcloth, useful smithing ingots, and equipment left by the last defenders. Among the practical spoils were a battle-worn but enchanted longsword and a masterwork breastplate suitable for a hero returning from the mountain. Two rarer finds hint at the place's former importance: a climber's kit strengthened with a minor magic to aid traversal of sheer stone, and a shifting map that remembers the keep's safe passages. The loot is balanced for a level 10 party: a mix of immediate wealth, useful crafting materials, and a couple of items that reward further investigation or attunement.
