Dust and Mantis Blades: The Sandstalkers' Spoils

After a sun-blasted clash among the ruined wagons and battered standards of a desert caravan, the party picks through the remains of three sandstalker hunters, three marauders, and a lone mystic. The sandstalkers yield segmented chitin, curved mantis blades, and hunting trophies; the marauders leave simple spears, crude coin purses and scavenged trade goods; the mystic's camp produces a cracked crystal focus and the remnants of ritual stores. Much of the spoils are sandy, brittle, and best suited to be sold to a curious trader or reworked by a crafter familiar with exotic materials. Among the wreckage is also a cloth banner with a sigil unknown to the party — a useful trophy or clue to the band that stalked the dunes.
