Hall of the Mastered Blade

After a grueling duel in a narrow, torchlit corridor deep within the dungeon, the party stands over the fallen Master Swordsman. The chamber was once a training hall; racks line the walls and a low brazier still smolders. The swordsman's equipment is well-kept, his personal effects include tokens from past pupils, and a secret compartment in his training dummy yields a cache of valuables and useful materials. The haul reflects a warrior’s life — quality weapons and gear, polishing and sharpening supplies, pieces of a masterwork commission, and a small pouch of gemstones meant as payment for discreet services. Nothing in the trove is overly ornate (the Master valued function over display), but much of it is of excellent craftsmanship and practical value to an experienced party of level 10 adventurers.
