After tracking a spy and his master thief contact to an underground safehouse beneath the dungeon, the party found a small band of thugs and a savage werewolf used as muscle. The fight was brutal by torchlight; the werewolf tore through crude furniture while the thieves tried to vanish with a smoke-bomb and a stack of stolen goods. When the dust settled, the party recovered what the criminals had been hoarding: coins and jewelry stolen from recent victims, practical gear a thief would prize, a single well-hidden magic cloak, and several pieces of evidence (ledgers and a map) that point to a larger ring. The loot reflects a planner’s cache rather than a warrior’s spoils — lockpicks, forged papers, a few valuable gems, and a silvered blade left from the party’s earlier exchange with lycanthropy.
