After laboring through the beast's steaming innards and prying open the distended maw, the party scavenged a grim collection of items the purple worm had swallowed over weeks of tunneling beneath trade routes. Some finds are heavily corroded and stained with digestive fluids, others survive surprisingly intact — jewels saved in sealed pouches, a length of tough chitin useful to an armorer, and odd alchemical residues that could be gold to the right apothecary. Several items bear chew marks, acid etching, or a faint reek of bile; all tell the tale of a sudden, violent meal and the scavenging that followed.
