The Tale of This Treasure
Hidden behind a false wall of an abandoned arcanist's tower, the party found a small vaulted chamber of glass and silver—an old magical treasury that had been sealed and warded against thieves. The seals were keyed to sigils long-faded, but the party's efforts (and a well-placed knock) disturbed sleeping wards rather than guardians: no beasts or constructs remained, only the treasures they had protected. Shelves of floating cases, a ring of frozen motes, and a central pedestal holding a single motley of enchanted goods composed the haul. Many items hum with residual enchantment; a few feel as if they were waiting to be claimed.
