The four bandits fell quick to the party's counterattack in a narrow stone corridor where the dungeon's passage had been pinched by a collapsed ceiling. Their gear is a mismatched, utilitarian pile: crude but serviceable weapons and leather, a handful of stolen valuables taken from earlier tomb-robs, and one bottle slipped into a boot for emergencies. A damp scrap of parchment buried in a boot shows a crudely drawn portion of the dungeon with a circled chamber and the words 'lower vault'—a useful lead if the party wants to press deeper.
